Rating a song

You can view and set the media player's star rating for the currently playing song or video from your iPhone or iPod touch.

To rate the current song:

  1. Tap once on the album art to display the additional controls.
  2. Tap on a rating to set between 1 and 5 stars. To set the rating to no stars, tap in the empty area to the left of the first star position.

The star rating displayed is updated automatically to show the rating assigned in your media player for the current song or video.
